Terms & Conditions

Thank you for purchasing your Chrissie’s Theory Trail plan! In making this purchase you agree to the following Terms:

1. Theory Trail materials – the Worksheets, Revision Sheets and Topic Notes – do not offer answers as such, but rather guide the student towards understanding each topic and working out the answers themselves. It is understood that the student’s progress in following each Theory Trail is not guaranteed, but will be determined by the amount of time, effort and care they apply to their work.

2. Copyright – the text, illustrations and musical examples of all Theory Trail materials are the property of Christine Garratt and will not be reused, altered or sold on any other site or in any circumstance other than for the personal use of the purchaser.

3. Marking and Feedback – if the student opts to purchase Marking and Feedback they will receive the personal attention of an experienced and knowledgeable Music Theory specialist who will offer useful feedback on any errors and constructive advice on how these might have been avoided. In choosing this option the student agrees to complete their work and then scan and email a clear and legible copy to chrissieg@cgmusichub.com for marking, after which they will receive a Marks and Comments sheet by email.

4. One-to-One online Tuition – if the student opt to purchase online tuition, this will take place using Zoom. Please see below for further conditions regarding Zoom tuition.

5. Once purchased, Theory Trails are non-refundable but can be exchanged for another Trail if the student decides their needs require this. Please contact us to discuss.

6. The Grade 5 Theory examination – each Theory Trail guides a student towards the ABRSM grade 5 theory examination. Once the course is complete it is the student’s (or a responsible adult’s) responsibility to complete the ABRSM online application to take the online exam, following the advice provided in the Chrissie’s Theory Trail – The Exam Guide which is downloadable as part of each Theory Trail plan.
